The Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy game isn’t coming out for the Switch, nor is the 4th installment of Ultimate Ninja Storm but either way, it’s still nice to see that Naruto is alive and kicking with the Boruto series out on TV. At the same time, a price hasn’t been provided yet, so as soon as we know more information on a release date, a price point should follow.

Each character can gain new combos and jutsu by activating the Awakening Mode. Lars Alexandersson, a guest character from Tekken 6, is also playable in the game. As the story progresses, players will unlock new Jutsu and Ultimate Jutsu for certain characters. It has nine chapters including the prologue and an extra chapter.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 ‘s gameplay retains many of the elements of the first game and has 23 fighting stages. The story mode loosely covers the events of the anime up to episode 135. Unlike previous games, where players fight on a two-dimensional background, Ultimate Ninja Storm allows players to fight in a completely three-dimensional setting. Although there is no online play, downloadable content is available in the form of extra support characters, alternative costumes, and new missions. The game features cel-shaded graphics that “will break the barrier between anime and video game”. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm retains many of the gameplay elements from earlier instalments of the Ultimate Ninja series. This was confirmed by Bandai Namco in the recent Shonen Jump magazine. If you’ve played Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games in the past when they first came out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and have kept up with the trilogy since, you’ll be happy to know that the first three games, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, and Naruto: Ultimate Njima Storm 3 will be ported over to the Nintendo Switch in Japan.
